We've eaten several times, it's good bar food. Great selection of beers, service is good.
Outside seating. We had some appetizers and drinks today.

We went here for the first time and really enjoyed the food. We waited quite a while to be seated, but I'm glad we did!

Went with their cubano sandwich and it arrived as a soggy mess. I managed only to eat a bit over half of it as I was famished but that's not something that regularly happens to me. The side that came with it were stale potato chips, the regular kind you'd get from a Lays bag or something? Left over half of that in my plate. What a disappointing meal.
The garrison is a good looking pub. Lots of parking. Service was OK. The menu has decent options and I TRULY regret going with their cubano given some other items on the menu I would have definitely tried if I would have known their cubano sucks....but I do love me a good cubano sandwich! -

Ended up at the Garrison for our Anniversary dinner, seeing how this time of year the locations for dinner are slim pickings in Lake George! Read the reviews here on yelp and the place has four stars...why? Food was a average at best, but fighting the onslaught of fruit flies while trying to eat wasn't very entertaining! I'm guessing the bar seen is good during the season, but I wouldn't suggest dinner in the off season! Was being generous with the three stars!!!

It's very meh. Nothing to write home about. Food was very mediocre overall. I did like my french onion soup, though. The calamari was spicy (which is fine) but really greasy and oily. Waitresses were very nice, live singer and guitar player was good- not too loud and decent volume so you can hear others at your table speaking. Hostess - tall skinny girl who kind of looks like Kendall Jenner had the flip attitude of a model and looked like she'd rather be anywhere in the world besides the host stand and barely acknowledged customers. Ambiance is very pub-like. Not fine dining despite the pricing. Downstairs/basement allows for smoking so we almost decided to leave when we smelled smoke near the entrance but once inside, it didn't smell of smoke at all. Overall, this was a so-so place made better by excellent and attentive waitresses.
